Police arrest a school teacher for prostitution. Solona Islam went from valedictorian at McClellan High School to agreeing to sell her body for sex inside a motel room. Islam was busted by police and arrested for prostitution in October. She says, "I was scared more than anything else because I was thinking of my son. If I do go to jail, what am I supposed to do?" Islam says her financial struggles with credit card debt and caring for an 18-month-old son led her to make a poor decision. Little Rock School District officials found out about the incident earlier this month and placed the algebra instructor on paid leave. Islam decided to resign after meeting with her boss on Friday. She says, "I was scared more than anything else because I was thinking of Fortunately for Islam she didn't go to jail. She pleaded guilty to a prostitution charge and paid a 0 fine. Now, she says she is trying to put this behind her. Islam says she has a masters and is working on a Ph.D. She isn't sure what she will do next.
